Topic – When can we make a release?

Abstract

In this talk, we’ll try to answer the question of when can we make a release. This a question that usually involves testers or “QA teams” to an extent, as testing can provide some insights on it.
As we deep-dive into this question, we’ll find that it is a bit tricky if we focus on it just like that. By following a slightly different approach, we’ll discover that there is only *one thing* that influences our abiity to make a product release.
That important, non-technical aspect is the major blocker for releasing within teams and is influenced by other variables, which we can think of as capabilities.
These are testing related capabilities and cover soft and hard skills, which can be applied together to leverage the ability to make releases ASAP.

Top Takeaways:

  •  Learn what is that *single* thing you need to perform a release
  •  Understand how to achieve and increase that thing with testing in 4 points
