Agentic AI promises to transform testing, but most implementations stall on broken assumptions, not broken tools. This talk unpacks common failure patterns and the mindset shift QE teams need to actually make agents work.
1. Understand the new attack surfaces introduced by AI systems and why traditional testing approaches are insufficient for uncovering AI-specific risks.
2. Learn practical AI red teaming techniques such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, context poisoning, memory manipulation, and agent/tool exploitation through real-world examples.
3. Gain a structured framework for adversarial testing of AI applications, enabling teams to proactively identify vulnerabilities before they reach production.
4. Discover how Quality Engineers can evolve into AI Risk Engineers, building resilient, trustworthy, and secure AI systems through continuous validation and governance.
Traditional AI in Quality Assurance primarily assists engineers by generating test cases, explaining failures, or writing automation scripts. However, Agentic AI represents the next evolution, where multiple AI agents collaborate autonomously to perform complex QA tasks with minimal human intervention.
This session explores how a team of specialized AI agents – such as a Requirements Analyst Agent, Test Design Agent, Automation Engineer Agent, Environment Management Agent, Execution Agent, Defect Analysis Agent, and Release Quality Agent – can work together to simulate the responsibilities of an experienced QA team.
Rather than replacing QA engineers, Agentic AI augments them by accelerating testing, improving coverage, reducing repetitive work, and enabling continuous quality validation throughout the SDLC. The session also discusses enterprise architecture, governance, human oversight, security considerations, and real-world applications in domains like networking, cloud, and enterprise software.
P. V. Upesh is an Ex-Cisco Senior QA Automation Engineer and AI-driven Quality Engineering expert with 14+ years of experience in enterprise networking, security, and test automation. He specializes in Agentic AI, Python, and autonomous QA systems, helping organizations transform software testing through intelligent automation, multi-agent architectures, and AI-powered quality engineering.
