Large Language Models aren’t just revolutionizing how we build software – they’re redefining how we test it.
Join us at The Test Tribe’s 3rd Seattle Meetup for an eye-opening session led by Prasad Yacham, where we’ll explore how LLMs (Large Language Models) are transforming the role of QA and automation validation. This talk goes beyond hype, offering a practical perspective on how AI can act as a test engineer-shaping smarter test strategies, rethinking validation, and boosting system reliability.
Passionate about building innovative solutions that enhance product quality, streamline testing, and improve system resiliency. I specialize in developing automation frameworks using Java (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle) and Python for backend and API automation. With experience in machine learning, I design predictive maintenance pipelines to anticipate robotic failures. Constantly exploring emerging technologies, I thrive on driving efficiency, automation, and smart solutions.
Many teams still find defects late in development, leading to delays, rework, and higher costs. The Shift Left approach helps prevent this by integrating testing earlier in each phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
In this session, we’ll break down the SDLC stages—Requirement Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment, and Maintenance—and explore how Shift Left testing can be applied at each step. From early test planning and static code analysis to unit testing, API testing, and continuous testing in CI/CD, we’ll cover practical strategies that help teams catch defects early and release with confidence.
With real-world case studies and actionable insights, this talk will show how developers, testers, and managers can collaborate to build quality from the start—resulting in faster releases, fewer bugs, and a smoother SDLC process.
