This presentation is focused on addressing everyday engineering challenges in test automation—flaky tests, fragile locators, slow root-cause analysis, and the growing effort required to maintain large Playwright test suites. It explores how combining Playwright with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) enables AI-driven, browser-level automation that can understand page state, adapt to UI changes, and actively participate in test execution and debugging. The focus of the talk is on the how: how AI agents interact with the browser, how context and feedback loops replace static scripts, and how this approach can be integrated into real QA workflows to reduce maintenance, improve reliability, and accelerate feedback. The goal is to give engineers a clear, practical understanding of where this model fits in modern automation stacks and how it can be applied incrementally in real projects.
