Maintaining strong and dependable test automation can be difficult in today’s ever-changing software development ecosystem. Self-healing in test automation addresses this by automatically detecting and fixing broken tests, adapting to changes in the application. This session will introduce the concept of self-healing tests, explain how they work, and demonstrate their benefits. Attendees will gain insights into the benefits and implementation of self-healing mechanisms in their test automation frameworks.
AI is rapidly changing how testing is done, but it also exposes a deeper question: what actually makes testing valuable and what good testing looks like?
This session explores how testing as an activity needs to evolve in the AI era. We’ll examine which parts of testing are already replaceable, which are not, and which skills redefine a tester’s relevance today.
1. Identify the core skills that define testing
2. How to use AI as a partner, not as a master
3. Going back to the absolute basics to understand and create value in testing.
4. Know what it takes to feel secure in the testing career.
Raneesh has spent over nine years navigating the fast-paced world of software testing. He specialises in breaking down complex requirements, designing practical test strategies, and building automation frameworks that are built to scale and withstand real-world challenges.
With a strong passion for sharing knowledge, Raneesh actively contributes to the community through courses, workshops, meetups, and content that helps testers grow in their craft. Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports and watching anime, bringing the same energy and curiosity into everything he does.
Generative AI is powerful, but unreliable without human judgment.
This session introduces a practical human-in-the-loop framework for working with GenAI under uncertainty, bias, and non-determinism.
We’ll explore how testers and engineers can move beyond prompt cleverness to deliberate review, validation, and quality-driven AI interactions.
