“Do any of these statements sound familiar?
– QA is always seen as a bottleneck in the company
– Test automation always lags behind development
– When timelines are tight, testing time is always cut
– When there’s a bug in production, all eyes are on QA
– The QA manager / lead / team is responsible for the GO / NO GO decision of a production release
– (And many others I’m sure you can think of)
If so, welcome! You’re not alone.
In a world where software quality is more critical than ever, traditional testing and quality approaches often fall short. But it’s not just about methodology — we often face a lack of commitment from the organization, a lack of understanding of what QA truly does, and the eternal perception that QA is the “”software police.””
So how can we ensure that our products not only work, but also deliver an exceptional user experience while engaging the entire organization?
The answer lies in the synergy between Quality Engineering and Testing.
In this talk, we’ll explore how Quality Engineering and Testing complement and strengthen each other to form a powerful alliance for delivering high-quality software. We’ll look at the core principles of each approach and how their integration can transform the software development lifecycle, including some IA tips. We’ll also share our vision of how the QA role must evolve to keep up with modern demands”
