This interactive demonstration shall suggest those baby steps that should encourage most of us (the testers) to inculcate the habit of exploring* GenAI and LLMs. The exploration shall help understand why, what, where, when and how we should use these rapidly moving technologies to bring efficiency and better thinking in our day-to-day testing work.
We will walk through a tried and tested approach. An approach that clearly and cleverly rely upon a tester’s foundational knowledge in load testing to construct intentional prompts to nudge a LLM and compel it to generate an appropriate test script back in fewer attempts.
1. Decent foundation in load testing triggers designing test(s) appropriate to the (testing) context.
2. Thoughtfully designed test guides writing clear, structured and intentional prompt.
3. Carefully written prompts and supporting context (for LLM) stimulate LLMs generating test scripts aligned with the design.
4. A careful analysis of script, evaluation of execution results gives an opportunity to retrospect on Foundations, Test Design and / or prompting.
