In mobile app spaces, with all these evolving technologies and competitors, performance plays an important role in terms of delivering a seamless end-user experience. Improving performance has become the top priority for all global mobile app companies as it directly impacts user experience, retention rates, conversions, and ultimately revenue. Even if we deliver a brilliant feature with performance issues, people will eventually stop using those apps. As high-performing apps are user favorites, we testers should also adopt performance-centric strategies while testing mobile apps.

I have been on a journey from QA to SDET since Oct 2020, & I am keen to share my experience, infinite questions that came to my mind, how do I channelize my energy to find solution/answer to them, define a custom plan for myself / my team & some assessment metric (off-course to quantify the progress, identify the blocker & find our way through progress). Being one of the Leaders – primarily responsible to make – organization level, strategy, plans, tool kits, repositories to support & manage ongoing consulting projects for our beloved clients.
Alongside, managing an initiative on “QA -> SDET”, at broad it is to change the mindset of test engineers to deep dive into programming languages, OOP & design concepts, not just using test framework – but to build their own, not to look out for helper utilities – but to build their own.
Also, change the mindset of stakeholders & make them realize – it is merely impossible to take black box functional & non-functional testing out for the project delivery pipeline. But we can reduce, the build time by adding more business-centric tests at the product engineering level.
