Session Title: Deep Diving into Game Testing

Nishant is excited to invite you to a special “Ask Me Anything” session on the topic of “Game Testing”. Join us for an interactive discussion where we’ll explore what value Tester can add in Gaming company, and how game testing is different from normal software testing. Whether you’re a developer, project manager, or a curious mind interested in quality assurance, this session is an opportunity to understand what opportunity are there for any tester in any gaming company and future path. Bring your questions, share your experiences, and let’s collectively uncover insights that can aid us in understanding the challenges in game testing. Looking forward to engaging with you all!

Testing a game is not a game! It requires a lot of additional skills as compared to normal software application testing.

With testing experience in Gaming for 6+ Years ( Games like Rummy, Howzat,Poker, Ludo, Pool, Carrom, Teen Patti, etc.) and total experience in the Testing Industry around 12+ Years, Nishant would be covering how Game testing is different from normal application testing and how it’s more interesting and challenging as well. This might also make the audience aware of the Scope of Testers and QA in the Gaming industry.

There are many similar and unique aspects between general software testing and game testing, but all types of testing require experts to perform them well and in a structured way. Game testing needs more attention to detail and requires more than just feature testing. Quality must be a red thread throughout the entire game design process. It’s important to understand what quality means for your particular game, and ensure that you test the right thing at the right time and right place, and in the right way.

Mainly making QA community aware about what is the value of QA in any Gaming company and what value they can add as a Tester in Gaming company.
