Atomic Talk Title: Dipping your toes into Public Speaking

The main aim of my talk is to encourage and inspire people to give public speaking a go. It has huge benefits from challenging yourself, stepping out of the box, being vulnerable, being humble, learning, researching, getting clarity and sharing your knowledge with others. Most important of all is that it changes you as a person, broadens your horizon and makes you receptive to different perspectives. At least that is what it did to me 🙂

In this talk I will be sharing my personal stories on how I have moved from a place where I was scarred for life to talk in public to being an International speaker bravely speaking at conferences in front of 100s and 1000s of people. I will also be sharing my process on delivering a talk from the start to finish. Whenever I have talked to fellow testers, leaders in the testing space, I have always come back with a feeling that my problem/challenges are not that unique. Many of them face similar adversities, they are either dealing with it, trying different strategies or have overcome it. The world would be a better place if we all shared these stories and learnt from each other. So, there is no need to reinvent the wheel, take the first step and get on the bandwagon and use your voice. Give public speaking a go!
