Getting started with Application Security

In this session, our speaker will present how to use Whitebox and Blackbox tactics, as well as automation, to attack modern-day applications, APIs, and associated endpoints. In addition, he will show how to get an expanded view out of standard vectors, a few handy bypasses, and some interesting chains that he and his peers in the Infosec community discovered, as well as emphasize the effect of such vulnerabilities and decide on novel ways of exploiting them.

Testing Video streaming/Engagement platforms for Functionality, Security, and Scalability

The core of virtual event platforms is video streaming and user engagement, which require seamless audio and video streaming within and across different platforms, security with respect to User data, scaling millions of users on the platform, and managing a continuous stream of chat messages, polls, Surveys, and Notifications. Testing each of these functional and non-functional aspects requires different strategies in each area. In this session, I will speak about my experiences and learnings from testing a Virtual event platform for functional, security, and scalability aspects.
