TTTribeCast: Webinar on “Heuristics and Why You Should Care About Them” by James Bach

Hello, Tribals,

We are here with something new and exciting yet again. TTTribeCast it is. Our very own Webinar Series. This time with a webinar by James Bach.

What is TTTribeCast?
Testing Community is amazing. The reach and diversity it has been even more amazing. And that’s why we think that the physical reach of The Test Tribe Community should not become the barrier between Knowledge Givers and Seekers.

TTTribeCast is the Webinar Series by The Test Tribe where any Tester from the World can take up the virtual stage and share his/her knowledge with our Tribe.

The format is Simple. The speaker goes live, shares his/her knowledge on the decided topic followed by a quick Q&A through comments on Live Video.

What’s in Store this time?
Webinar by James Bach on “Heuristics and Why You Should Care About Them”

In any skilled problem-solving activity, the proper use of heuristics is critical to success. Yet, most people don’t know what they are or how to talk about them. In this webinar, I will tell you what is and is not a heuristic and show you at least one in action.

When is this happening?
12th of May | Sunday | 8:30 PM IST -9:30 PM IST
Where can I watch this?
The Webinar would be hosted on Zoom this time but it would also be broadcasted live in The Test Tribe Facebook Community. If you are not part of it already, do join at

About James:
James is CEO of Satisfice, Inc, company dedicated to teaching and consulting in Software Testing. He is a Founding Member of Rapid Software Testing(RST) Methodology.
He started in the Software business as a programmer. He likes programming. But He finds the problems of software quality analysis and improvement more interesting than those of software production. For him, there’s something very compelling about the question “How do I know my work is good?” Indeed, how do I know anything is good? What does good mean? That’s why He got into Software Testing, in 1987.James is also the author of books like “Lessons Learned in Software Testing: A Context-Driven Approach” and “Secrets of a Buccaneer-Scholar: How Self-Education and the Pursuit of Passion Can Lead to a Lifetime of Success“.

Know more about James here-

So we hope you all are as excited as we are. See you all at Live Hour.

Happy Learning! Happy Testing!

With Love,
The Test Tribe Team
